Manufacturing Process:

The first step of manufacturing process is to take PET material and clean it. The cleaned material is further extruded into a film like base substance called PET flake. This step is done using an extruder with an injection screw having high speed rotation. Further, these flakes are sent to a Conveyor Belt which moves these flakes forward for drying purpose to remove moisture in them. Drying can be done both by hot air drying or vacuum dryer. After that, at second stage, it is sent to condenser where plastic pellets made out of pelletizer machine. Again from here it goes through dryer again before entering next process.

PET Pellets: Now pellets go through decoiler and conveyor belt moving on roller bed for taking away extra air or density from inside pellet as pellets get settled at lower place as extra air comes out of pellets due to conveying belts. During drying all water vapour is taken away from pellet which again makes it ready for further process. After completing whole process a plastic granulate gets formed after removing water by passing them through dryer twice. This material is now ready to be used in other manufacturing processes such as in making of textured yarn, printing etc.
